Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
--W.B. Yeats, 1888
I'm very interested in mapping out ways that we, as educators, can improve reading and critical thinking skills by using technology. There is a fair argument that rests with many that students are not able to focus on a thought-provoking piece of literature and glean insight. Some blame this lack of focus on Google, Facebook,and Android. I do not believe our society can or should retreat from digital; therefore, we must find a way to marriage the rusty smell of the classic with an absent aroma of the terabyte.
